Newly signed Baroka striker, Decide Chauke, has vowed to reward Chairman of the club Khurishi Mphahlele for showing faith in him and giving him an opportunity to realise his dream.
Chauke joined Bakgaga on a three-year deal from GladAfrica Championship side TS Sporting in May.
The 25-year-old who impressed Baroka after scoring 29 goals in all competitions in his three seasons at the Mpumalanga club says he hopes his experience in the first division will help him adjust at the top level.
“They (Baroka) have been making enquires about me for a long time and I have also been looking to join a Premier Division club that will help me grow,” Chauke told FARPost.
“What I know is that I will continue to work hard and repay their faith in me when I am given a chance. I learnt a lot when I was playing in the GladAfrica until now when I got my opportunity to go to Baroka.
“I am grateful to the Chairman for giving me this huge opportunity to be part of his team. It’s rare for a club Chairman to give young people an opportunity like this. He has been very supportive of me since I arrived at this club and that has made me feel at home,” added Chauke.
