Kaizer Chiefs dropped two crucial points as they continue to search for an Absa Premiership title since 2015.

This follows a 1-1 draw against Stellenbosch at Orlando Stadium on Sunday evening.

Stellies scored first through in-form midfielder Leletu Skelem in the 35th minute.

Amakhosi found the equaliser through Zambian international Lazarous Kambole in the 69th minute, his first for the club.

Chiefs remain top of the log, six points above Mamelodi Sundowns who still have a match in hand.

Meanwhile, Stellenbosch are 9th with 34 points, tied with 8th placed Highlands Park with three matches remaining.
