Baroka have confirmed that their number 1 goalkeeper and captain Elvis Chipezeze started doing some light training with the team this morning after he had suffered a neck muscle sprain against Maritzburg United over the weekend.
“I just want to thank everyone for the messages you sent and as you can see I am okay now. See you soon, hopefully we see each other on Saturday when we play Highlands Park,” said Chipezeze in a video released by Baroka on social network, Twitter.
The Zimbabwean international is a key figure in the Baroka’s defence with 7 clean sheets in 20 Absa Premiership games.
The 29-year-old shot-stopper is likely to be available when Baroka take on Highlands Park at Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa on Saturday.
