The Zambian national team have shifted base to Douala as they intensify preparations for the Cameroon 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) that starts on January 16.
The 2020 CHAN edition was moved to this year.
Milutin Sredojevic’s side got down to business after having travelled from Yaoundé on Saturday where they participated in the four nations invitational tournament that ended on Thursday.
Chipolopolo have been boosted by the arrival of four more players in Kelvin Kampamba (Zesco United), Luka Banda (Napsa Stars), Pride Mwansa (Nkwazi) and Harrison Chisala (Nkana).
The squad is stationed in Doula before heading to Limbe where Group D will be played.
Zambia commences its campaign in January 19 with a tie against Tanzania before facing Guinea four days later. The final group game will be against Namibia on January 27, 2021.
Meanwhile, the Chipolopolo boys will play a final practice match against Libya on Wednesday as they warm up for the tournament.
