Chippa United’s preparations for next season are in full swing with the technical team already finalized.
The club recently announced Gavin Hunt as their coach after the departure of Lehlohonolo Seema, who led the team in the promotion/relegation play-offs.
Hunt has confirmed to FARPost that his technical team is being finalized and Ian Taylor and Daine Klate are some of the names he is looking at.
The former Kaizer Chiefs coach reluctantly confirmed the acquisition of his two assistant coaches.
“Yeah that has been finalised, we’ve sorted that out already,” responded Hunt.
Hunt is known to admire Klate and the two have a good relationship, having coached him at SuperSport United and Bidvest Wits.
The club’s general manager Morgan Mamilla did not deny the news, choosing to refer this publication to the coach himself.
“Please ask the coach, I want you to find out from him not me,” said Mamilla.
The club is expected to unveil the new technical team members in the next few days.
