Limpopo ABC Motsepe League side Ngwaabe City Motors have announced Rodney ‘Danger’ Thobejane as the club’s technical advisor.

Thobejane boasts a lot of South African football top-flight experience, having represented teams like Ria Stars and Kaizer Chiefs.

City Motors currently sit fourth in the Provincial ABC League stream B table with six points from four outings, just three points behind log leaders Polokwane Academy.

The Sekhukhune-based outfit started the season like a house on fire winning the Limpopo ABC League Nedbank Cup Preliminary Games, a success which was cut short as the South African Football Association (Safa) pulled out amateur football teams in the 2021 Nedbank Cup edition due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The former Amakhosi centre-back also served as Ditlou head coach, a team they will be facing in a league clash on Saturday, 20 March at Jane Furse Artificial Ground.

The game is scheduled to start at 15:00 in the afternoon.
