Black Leopards interim coach Allan Clark has called on his players not to underestimate Stellenbosch when the two teams meet in an Absa Premiership match this afternoon.
Leopards who are 13th on the log will host Stellies who are 11th ahead of the clash at Thohoyandou Stadium at 15:30.
The visitors are 7 points above Lidoda Duvha and have won their last 3 League matches in a row.
“They have made some great acquisitions during the January window people like Granwald Scott joining the team really gives them a little bit of more stability and it gives them a little bit of experience in that team,” Clark told FARPost.co.za.
“They also have a coach (Steve Barker) that has been around… you know he has a great technical team around him so they are on a high. I think they won their last 3 or 4 in a row now so they are flying high so you have to respect them. In this PSL era there are no small teams anymore everybody is well prepared and everybody can play,” he stated.
A win for Stellenbosch will take them to 7th on the log with 27 points while Leopards can stretch their points tally to 20 points.
Their League position will change depending on the result between AmaZulu and Polokwane City match which also takes place this afternoon at 15:30.
