Black Leopards captain Rodney Ramagalela insists the players need to rally behind the current technical team and do what is expected from them.
Lehlohonolo Seema and Morgan Shivambu will take charge of the club assisted by Mongezi Bobe when Leopards take on Mamelodi Sundowns in a DStv Premiership match at Thohoyandou on Wednesday.
This comes after Lidoda Duvha parted ways with head coach Dylan Kerr on Monday.
Ramagalela who re-joined Leopards three months ago, after a stint at Mamelodi Sundowns, Golden Arrows and Highlands Parks, says Seema and his team need to be given the team’s full support.
“Look coaches come and go. Black Leopards is bigger than everyone so whoever is in charge (needs support),” says Ramagalela.
“I believe and think everyone needs to support them and make sure we do what is expected from us and make sure we deliver on the pitch,” he said.
The 32-year-old has also emphasised the importance of starting to collect points and also reflecting on their league position.
“Yeah, we are very concerned. It is very disappointing the way we are dropping points and I believe we are at fault as a team, together. That’s something we need to fix as soon as yesterday. So hopefully the way we have been working for the past two days will boost the moral and hopefully we will get the results on Wednesday,” added Ramagalela.
The encounter at Thohoyandou Stadium will start at 17:00.
