Premier Soccer League clubs continue to pay tribute to the late AmaZulu and South African football legend Cedric ‘Sugar Ray’ Xuly who passed away on Monday.
Xulu, who for a long time had been suffering from cancer died at Marainhill Hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Soweto Giants Orlando Pirates took to social media to also pay their tributes to the fallen hero.
“☠ In honour of a South African Football Legend, rest in peace Cedric “Sugar Ray” Xulu,” read a post from the Buccaneers.
Others teams who have paid their tributes include SuperSport United, Maritzburg United and Golden Arrows.
Although Sugar Ray played for a number of clubs, he is best remembered for his days at AmaZulu where he earned legendary status.
