The Bafana Bafana camp have confirmed that Kaizer Chiefs forward Lebogang Manyama has come in as a replacement for Themba Zwane.
‘Mshishi’ is sidelined with a hamstring injury and missed Sundowns’ 3-2 defeat to Golden Arrows at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on Sunday.
Bafana will face Ghana and Sudan on November 14 and 17 respectively.
The team is leaving for Ghana on Monday evening.
Bafana assembled for camp on Sunday and will have a training session at Sturrock Park at 11h00, before their departure.
The overseas-based contingent of Lebohang Phiri, Bongani Zungu, Lebo Mothiba (all France); Thulani Serero (Abu Dhabi); Percy Tau, Darren Keet (both Belgium); as well as Kamohelo Mokotjo (England) will join up with their teammates in Accra, the capital of Ghana, on Monday night before the long bus drive to Cape Coast.
This is where Bafana Bafana will take on Ghana in the first match of the qualifiers on Thursday, November 14 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Kickoff is at 19h00.
For the second match of the qualifiers, Bafana will face Sudan at Orlando Stadium on Sunday, November 17 (15h00).
