FARPost has it on good authority that the Premier Soccer League has conditionally approved the sale of Bidvest Wits by Limpopo Businessman and owner of Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila Masala Mulaudzi.
Both Wits and TTM had already confirmed the sale, which Mulaudzi has described as a more of a ‘gift’ from the Bidvest company than a purchase of the club but were waiting for the green light from the Leagues’ executive committee.
In a letter seen by this publication dated Sunday, 12 July, the League ratified the transfer from the 99-year-old club to Mulaudzi.
“I have received the confirmation required and you have approval of the transfer of Bidvest Wits Football Club,” wrote PSL legal counsel Michael Murphy to the Club.
Wits will officially relocate to Limpopo upon the completion of the current season.
