Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has extended his contract with Real Madrid until 2026.
Courtois joined the Spanish giants in 2018, and managed to make 211 appearances for the side.
The Belgian international had three years remaining on his previous contract with Madrid.
In the 2019/20 campaign, he won the Zamora Trophy for the best goalkeeper in LaLiga having conceded just 20 goals in 34 games.
“Thibaut signed his contract renewal at Real Madrid City, accompanied by President Florentino Perez,” read the club’s statement.
“The goalkeeper remains linked to our club until June 30, 2026. After signing, he received a shirt with his name and the number 2026 as the number.”
