Manchester United have announced that the club has reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, the deal is subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been linked with a move to Manchester City, but ‘The Citizens’ have decided to leave the negotiations for Ronaldo as personal terms have never been agreed.

The 36-year-old forward has so far won over 30 major trophies during his career, including five Uef Champions League titles, four Fifa Club World Cups, seven league titles in England, Spain and Italy, and the European Championship for his native Portugal.

In his first spell for the ‘Red Devils’, the Portuguese skipper managed to score 118 goals in 292 appearances.

“Everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming Cristiano back to Manchester,” said the club in a statement.
