South African youth international defender Bradley Cross seems to have made a good impression during his trial at Dutch club Go Ahead Eagles.
This comes after coach Jack de Gier decided to keep him in the squad for the duration of pre-season at the club.
Cross spent two years at German side Schalke 04 while on a loan from Absa Premiership side Bidvest Wits, but failed to secure a permanent contract when the loan-deal finished.
As he continues his pursuit for senior football, the 19-year-old was selected to be one of the players who will continue playing with the first team in the upcoming games.
Last week, the central defender came on as a second half substitute for Eagles during the 2-0 loss to Heracles Almeho in a preseason friendly.
