Cape Town City have officially confirmed the signing of Ghanaian striker, Prince Opoku Agyemang from Medeama SC.
Agyemang joins CT City as a replacement for Kermit Erasmus, who penned a deal with Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns recently.
The club released the following statement on its official social media pages on Thursday morning:
“Cape Town City is delighted to announce the acquisition of Ghanaian international striker Prince Opoku Agyemang,” reads the club statement.
“CT City and Medeama SC have reached a transfer agreement for an initial 1-year deal with the option to extend to June 2024.”
The 28-year-old Agyemang netted 11 goals in 14 matches in the Ghana Premier League last campaign before the coronavirus pandemic halted football.
