GladAfrica Championship outfit Cape Town Spurs have completed the signing of Angolan striker Diassonama ‘Chico’ Francisco Panzo Bunga.
Before joining CT Spurs, ‘Chico’ played at the highest level in Angola where he most recently donned the colours of top division club Sagrada Esperança – helping them to the Girabola title last season.
The 29-year-old said that he feels grateful for the opportunity given to him to play for the ‘Urban Warriors’.
“I feel welcomed here. This is an opportunity for me to open new doors for me and my family,” said ‘Chico’.
According to Spurs, the striker boasts skillful attributes that coach Dylan Deane has been searching for, to add to the already strong attacking options at the club.
‘Chico’ is Spurs’ eighth signing of the current transfer window following the acquisition of Jarrod Moroole, Colin Ryan, Moisés Pedro Amor, Bevan Fransman, Gregory Damons, Eyona Ndondo and Reggy Zondi.
