Dabeka Sporting FC general manager Skhithy Cele has neither confirmed nor denied the allegations of the club being sold.
The ABC Motsepe KwaZulu Natal League side recently released more than eight players to different GladAfrica Championship clubs during the transfer window.
The news come after there have been allegations of irregularity and mismanagement in the club with a lot of players leaving to join other clubs in the ABC Motsepe League.
Cele told FARPost that he is currently in Johannesburg and he does not know about the team club being sold.
“I am currently in Johannesburg for three weeks and I don’t know about that.
“I’ll know about that when I come back to Durban,” said Cele.
It is alleged that the club has been sold to a team called Classic FC, which is also based in Durban from Mayville.
