Black Leopards midfielder Andriamirado ‘Dax’ Andrianarimanana is looking forward to facing his former club Kaizer Chiefs when the 2 teams clash in an eagerly awaited clash in Thohoyandou on Saturday.
‘Dax’ joined Lidoda Duvha in August 2019 after an unsuccessful stint in Naturena the previous season.
The last time the two teams met in Thohoyandou, the Madagascar international scored for Chiefs during a 1-1 draw.
But now that he will be in a different dressing room, Andrianarimanana admits it won’t be an easy battle come Saturday 15:30.
“The match on Saturday won’t be easy because it’s a big game. Last season I scored for Kaizer Chiefs but Saturday I will be in a different dressing room. I am prepared for the match on Saturday and speaking from my side now (Leopards), it will not be easy but we will do the best to make our supporters happy,” he told FARPost.co.za
After many Chiefs fans felt the player was released after not being given enough chance, the 28-year-old says he doesn’t feel he has anything to prove on the day.
“I don’t think I need to prove anything to anyone on Saturday I only have to play my football and also to help my team which is Leopards, That’s it.”
‘Dax’ has made 9 appearances for Leopards this season with just 1 assist but no goals scored yet.
