Highly rated defender Rushine de Reuck could stay another season at the ‘Team of Choice’ according to chief operations officer (COO) Quinton Jettoo.
De Reuck has been recently linked with a move to Orlando Pirates.
“His first preference is to go overseas, but if there is no offer, then he would like to stay here for another year before he moves somewhere,” said Jettoo.
“Ultimately, we would look at any offer that comes for a player. We will never stand in any player’s way if there is a good offer that comes to the club,” Jettoo told SAFM.
“We understand where we are as club, but it will always be in consultation with the coach and player”.
The 24 year-old has made 29 appearances for Team of Choice this season, netting one goal.
Jettoo also confirmed the details of De Reuck’s contract at Team of Choice as he is currently on five-year deal.
“De Reuck has a five-year deal contract. We improved his package according to his performance. Our intention is to make sure he’s happy first,” added Jettoo.
