Ditlou FC started the Limpopo ABC Motsepe League like a house on fire when they crushed Danilton Callies 3-1 at Groblersdal Rugby Stadium on the opening day.
However, the side has stuttered since then, as the club went on to play four games without a win.
This poor form has seen the club chairman Mash Maila making changes to the technical team, bringing in former Orlando Pirates striker Reason Chiloane to take over the coaching reigns from Lucas Mautla, who has been demoted to be an assistant coach.
“As you can see we just reinforced our coaching department so that we add some experience to the team and be able to put up a great fight,” Maila told FARPost.
The chairman believes that Chiloane will bring fresh ideas, a different way of playing but still be successful.
The Sekhukhune-based outfit currently sit fourth in stream B of the Provincial ABC League log standings with eight points after six games.
“I’m still confident that the club will find its feet,” said the club chairman.
“We are still having the chance to turn the tables around because we are just five points behind log leaders, Polokwane Academy.”
It all started so well for the new man in charge having played to a goalless draw with Ngwaabe City Motors this past Saturday in what may be termed the Sekhukhune derby and secured his first win at the club when they hammered the struggling Terrors FC 5-0 on Wednesday.
Whilst his style of play would be somewhat different from what Ditlou were used to, but Chiloane’s ideas seemed to be clear in the last two games in which he was in charge and everyone is bought into his philosophies.
