BREAKING: Dladla joins Richards Bay

One of the country’s brightest coaching talents Simo Dladla is emerging from behind the scenes to the dugout, with confirmation he’s taking over the coaching reigns at struggling Richards Bay.

The man from Hillcrest in Durban was until recently the Sporting Director at Real Kings who are coached by Joel Masutha, but Dladla has resigned from Kings and is now embarking on a rescue mission at Richards Bay.

If there’s one man capable of changing their fortunes for the better, it’s none other than Dladla.

Four seasons ago Dladla surprised all and sundry by guiding Real Kings to a fourth place finish in SA’s second tier, narrowly missing out on the promotion playoffs place by a few points.

Last season, he saved them from relegation.

Languishing in 12th spot at the moment, Richards Bay are away to fellow strugglers Free State Stars on Saturday.

They would be hoping Dladla hits the ground running with them to turn things around.
