With the completion of the stream games in the Limpopo ABC Motsepe League, The Dolphins and Magesi FC will now go head-to-head to determine the provincial champion and representative at the ABC Motsepe National Playoffs.
The Dolphins won stream A by goal difference as they ended the season level on points with Mikhado FC. Both sides amassed 34 points from 16 outings.
Meanwhile, Magesi comfortably cruised their way to the provincial playoffs after finishing on the summit of stream B table with 38 points, six points ahead of second-placed, Polokwane Academy.
Makotopong Brazil and Berraccah could not stand the heat as they were relegated from stream A and B respectively. Brazil only managed to collect 11 points, whereas Berraccah accumulated 14 points with 16 league games played by the two teams.
With all being said, the top four teams from each stream will feature in the playoffs to determine the top-eight. This is done because the league will pay prize monies only up to the eighth-placed team.
The fixtures for the provincial playoffs had been postponed from the 29th of May to the 5th of June 2021.
