Italian side Salernitana have announced the signing of winger, Franck Ribery.
Ribery joins the newly promoted Serie A outfit after leaving Fiorentina at the end of the last campaign.
The side returned to Serie A this year, after 23 seasons, having finished second in Serie B.
The French international penned a one-year deal with Salernitana on a reported fee worth €1.5m.
He has also represented the likes of Bayern Munich, Galatasaray, Marseille, FC Metz just to mention a few.
The 38-year-old is known for his pace, energy, skill, precise passing and great control with the ball at his feet.
“A new chapter in my career, a new team, with which I start a new path. Thanks for the warm welcome here in Salerno. I am very pleased to be able to play in Serie A from now on with Salernitana,” Ribery tweeted on his official Twitter account.
