Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has commended midfielder Andile Jali’s performance following their convincing 5-0 win against AmaZulu.
Mosimane, however, pleaded with the media to not raise the idea of a possible Bafana Bafana recall for the midfielder just yet.
“We should not talk to Andile about Bafana Bafana please. Let him play first – let him finish the match first,” urged the coach.
“He is a good player, he is working hard, body condition looks good. Look at his body. He has sacrificed.”
“He has to get himself fit – he has to get himself onto the pitch. As long as he is doing that he will play. He shows that he is a professional – he is not young anymore (at age 29) and we need to support him.
“We have backed him. He knows as well that we supported him all the way. It’s about time he gives back to himself and then the club. He is coming and he is getting there,” added Mosimane.
The Brazilians play catch up in the League on Wednesday when they host Highlands Park at Loftus Stadium and many will be monitoring Jali’s performance.
