The reigning DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns are looking good yet again.
The Brazilians are back on top of the log, having beaten Kaizer Chiefs 2-0 at Loftus Stadium on Sunday evening.
Grant Kekana and Peter Shalulile were on the scoresheet for the home side, but perhaps to prove it was simply not Chiefs’s day, Lebogang Manyama came on and missed a penalty.
Chiefs had a bright start, but it counts for nothing if the dominance doesn’t result in goals and when Sundowns went ahead early on, Chiefs were left chasing their tail, borrowing from their coach Stuart Baxter at his post match press conference.
Baxter, however, was adamant that Chiefs were the dominant side and went further to say Amakhosi would be dangerous this season.
The result against Sundowns also suggest we all have to wait and see if Chiefs have it in them.
If not, it could very well be Sundowns, who dominate yet again.
