#FARPost sources have confirmed that indeed the Bidvest Wits trio of Ricardo Goss, Gift Motupa and Haashim Domingo will be turning out for Mamelodi Sundowns as from next season.
Speculation has been rife that the ‘Brazilians’ were close to finalising the deals, with each player set for a long-term contract.
Now a #FARPost source at Wits has confirmed that the players will be wearing Sundowns colours in the 2020/21 PSL campaign.
“It’s a done deal, basically. So Sundowns have got all three of those players,” said the source.
Motupa, pictured above, has been linked with the Tshwane club for the past few months and he was on record saying he was keen to play for the 2016 CAF Champions League winners.
“They’ve been winning more than all teams in the PSL for the past six years, so everyone would love be a part of that team,” said Motupa back in January.
Goss and Domingo, meanwhile, are the surprise acquisitions, but with both players 26 and 24 respectively, it’s an indication of Sundowns’s attempts to lower their average age, which is 29.1 at the moment and the oldest in the PSL.
