Downs players to watch v Arrows

Mamelodi Sundowns will look to maintain top spot when they face Golden Arrows at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium this afternoon (15:30).

For them to keep further ahead, they will need the likes of Themba Zwane to carry on their fantastic form.

FARPost picks three ‘Brazilians’ who will be key against Abafana Bes’thende.

Themba Zwane

Seven goals in seven League games – that’s simply brilliant from the man nicknamed ‘Mshishi’. The reigning PSL Footballer of the Season has continued to shine this season and unlike previous winners of this award, he’s been consistent.

Peter Shalulile

The Namibian has definitely hit the ground running for the Tshwane side and while some may have expected him to struggle early on, he’s been one of Sundowns’ standout performers.

He has also gelled in well with the likes of fellow attackers such as Zwane, which aurgus well for the Brazilians.

George Maluleka

‘Mido’ has featured in a few games and was great to watch in the 2-0 win over TS Galaxy. If fairness prevails he should be in the reckoning against Arrows and if his performance against Galaxy is anything to go by, expect him to be a driving force.
