Drama seems to never end in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League.
Just after the first leg of the provincial playoffs, there’s an ongoing case between Leruma United and Vaal Professionals.
According to FARPost sources, Vaal Pros have lodged a complaint, claiming that Leruma did not follow the rule of under 23 as they substituted four of their under 23 players before half time of which they were left with one under 23 player.
At first, it was Leruma who qualified to the provincial playoffs after they won a case against African All Stars, who were found guilty of fielding an improperly registered player by the name of Kamogelo Lebese.
The first leg encounter which was played on Saturday afternoon ended with a 2-1 scoreline in favour of Leruma. The second leg is expected to take place on Wednesday, 16 June 2021.
However, the Arbitration’s outcome is set to be issued out in due course.
