Brazilian shot-stopper Ederson has extended his contract at the English Premier League defending champions, Manchester City.
The goal minder has signed a new long-term deal, which will see him stay at the club until 2026
On signing his contract, the 28-year-old goalie said that he’s happy at ‘The Citizens’ and the love he feels from the club’s fans made his decision easier.
“It means a lot, I’m very happy at the club, in this city and my family has settled in very well,” he declared.
“I feel that the fans love me, my kids are in school, my wife likes to be here, so it’s all very positive and it means that my work is being recognised.
“I hope to continue with the hard work, dedication, in order to help the team, the club to win trophies and titles.
“In the last four years we’ve been winning trophies and we can continue that way. I’ll keep working hard for that to happen.”
