Spurs were due to play Cape United on the 3rd of January 2021 but the game was postponed as both teams had members of their teams test positive for COVID-19.
In an effort to strengthen the first team and ensure the continuation of the fixtures, the Urban Warriors have called up eight of their ABC Motsepe League team players to assist the senior team.
The players who have been called up to the first team are Aiden Dreyer, Dondre Gordon, Dylan Ruiters, Liam Bern, Litha Manzin, Obakhe Tshaya, Patrick Fischer and Yaseen Hartley.
They will, as a result, be considered for the Cape Town-based side’s next game against Free State Stars FC on the 9th of January 2021.
