England in hot water over fan use of laser pointer

England have been charged by Uefa after a fan shone a laser pointer in Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel’s face.

The incident happened during the 2020 European championship semi-final clash on Wednesday night at Wembley Stadium.

The Three Lions went on to defeat the Danes 2-1 after 120 tiresome minutes.

According to reports, the pointer was aimed at Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel before Harry Kane’s penalty, which Schmeichel saved but Kane managed to score from the rebound.

England are also charged for fan behaviour during national anthem and for lighting of fireworks.
