Eswatini CAF representatives confirmed

Young Buffaloes have secured a CAF Confederation Cup ticket after a hard fought 4-2 victory over Manzini Sea Birds on Wednesday.

The army giants needed to win the game to secure second spot which was not guaranteed as Mbabane Swallows were winning their clash against Manzini Wanderers.

Had Buffaloes lost to Sea Birds while Swallows won, the red and white giants would have earned the second position on the head-to-head rule.

The results mean Royal Leopard and Buffaloes have qualified to represent the country in the CAF Inter-Clubs competitions.

Meanwhile, Black Swallows were confirmed as the second club to be relegated from the MTN Premier League alongside Mhlume Peacemakers.

Swallows lost 0-1 to champions Royal Leopard in the league, confirming their worst relegation fears.

They finish the league second from bottom with 25 points while Peacemakers will also play MTN National First Division League football next season as their fate was confirmed last week.
