Eswatini’s most successful club Mbabane Highlanders have secured the services of former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Thamsanqa Sangweni.
The 31-year-old, who signed a one-year deal has been training with Ezimnyama Ngenkani since the beginning of this month.
Sangweni last played for Maritzburg United during the previous season, making just two appearances.
Even though they have not won the League title since 2001, Highlanders have the most league titles (13) in the history of the country.
Some of the South African players who have played for the club before include Punch Masenamela and Vuyani Ntanga, while Andries “Chaka Chaka” Mpondo has coached the side.
