Eswatini side Mbabane Highlanders are reportedly sweating over the return of South African duo Thamsanqa Sangweni and Mandisa Gadla.
The players, together with other South African born players Kenneth Moloto, Siphamandla Mlilo were given permission to go home for the Christmas holidays.
The club resumed training on Sunday after the Christmas break and only Moloto and Mlilo showed face, but Gadla and Sangweni did not show up.
Speaking to Swazi Observer, team coach Dumisani Mkhanya declined to give detailed information on the whereabouts of the duo.
“All I know is that the players were given time to spend with their families. Nothing formal has been communicated yet,” Makhanya told the publication.
“Let us wait and see if something happens before the end of the week,” he said.
Meanwhile, former Baroka dribbling wizard Tsepo ‘Skhwama Samataliyane’ Matete is expected to join the club for an assessment in the coming few days.
