Young Buffaloes have been forced to spend over two days in Tunisia due to travel complications.

Buffaloes were eliminated from the CAF Confederations Cup following a 2-0 defeat (4-1 in aggregate) by Etolile du Sahel on Tuesday.

But the club has been forced to remain at Sfax base until Friday before they can get a flight home via Qatar.

They will land at OR Tambo International Airport and through Ngwenya Border Post on the same night.

Covid-19 has ensured there is a decline in commercial flights across the continent with the varying country-to-country regulations on the pandemic adding salt to the wound.

The 2020 Champions nearly missed the second leg in Tunis after difficulties to enter in the North African country until a last minute intervention.
