Zambian international striker Evans Kangwa has signed a new two-year contract with Russian Premier League side Arsenal Tula.
Kangwa who was excused from the Chipolopolo squad for June FIFA window friendly matches signed the deal in Tula Russian City, Tula through his agent Nir Karin.
Karin has been Kangwa’s agent for the last eight years and he also represents winger Lameck Banda and Kings Kangwa who are all on the books of Arsenal Tula though Banda spent last season on loan at Israeli side, Maccabi Netanya.
The striker has expressed happiness to renew his stay in Tula and thanked his agent for being with him since his time at Nkana.
“I’m happy to sign again with Arsenal Tula. I have been here for 4 years and it is like my home now. I thank my agent, Nir Karin who has been with me from my days at Nkana,” he said.
Meanwhile, his agent is full of praise for the former Nkana talisman’s professionalism.
“Evans Kangwa is an example of professionalism, discipline, stability, hard work, loyalty, and morality. I’m proud to follow him and be his agent and I can’t wait to see him in the new season.”
Arsenal Tula will go to pre-season camp in Austria next week before they start their 2021/22 season campaign.
