Ex-Golden Arrows goalie joins TTM

Former Golden Arrows goalkeeper Edmore Sibanda has joined Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila [TTM] on a two-year deal.

The Zimbabwe international recently parted ways with Arrows after the expiry of his deal. His agent Bheki Ndebele confirmed the development saying the shot-stopper was raring to fight for the number one spot.

“He’s quite excited to get this opportunity to play competitively next season. He’s an experienced goalkeeper and I’m sure he will enjoy his football at his new club,” Ndebele told FARPost.

At the Durban outfit, Sibanda played second fiddle to Sifiso Mlungwana, getting limited playing time.

The 34-year-old joined Abafana Bes’thende in 2019 after impressing in the Africa Cup of Nations finals of that year.

He joins a TTM side that returns to the GladAfrica Championship after buying the status of Royal AM, who take up the place of Bloemfontein Celtic after a R50 million deal.
