Former Highlands Park midfielder Lebogang Ditsele is believed to have impressed Steve Barker during his training spell with Stellenbosch FC, with the club looking to hand him a deal.
The 23-year-old was never really given the chance to showcase his talents at The Lions of the North, following a move from Botswana Premier League side Gilport Lions back in 2016.
Ditsele only featured for Highlands in 2 encounters, once in the Absa Premiership and in the Nedbank Cup during the 2016/17 season.
Ditsele was one of a number of players training with the Western Cape outfit as Barker looks to try and bolster his squad for the Absa Premiership second round.
FARPost.co.za has now been informed that he may have done enough to land himself a contract at the club.
Stellies are currently lying in position 11, on the Absa Premiership log standings with 21 points after 19 games.
