Luc Eymael says in the short period of time he’s been with Tanzanian giants Young Africans he has managed to make a huge difference.

On January 9, 2020 the Belgian was confirmed as Young Africans head coach following his departure from Absa Premiership side, Black Leopards.

Young Africans, popularly known as Yanga SC, were in position 7 at the time of his arrival but he has now managed to turn them into title contenders as they sit 3rd on the table.

“In the Tanzanian Premier League there are 20 teams so there are 38 games to play,” Eymael tells FARPost.

“Simba (currently top of the log standings) have played 20 games so they are remaining with 18, (second-placed) Azam have played as well 20.

“We have played 18… big marathon,” concluded Eymael.
