FAZ suspend Forest Rangers goalkeeper coach

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has suspended Forest Rangers goalkeeping coach Charles Chileshe for unsporting conduct.

The alleged misconduct took place during a FAZ/MTN Super Division Week 13 fixture between Prison Leopards and Forest Rangers at President Stadium in Kabwe this past Saturday.

Chileshe has been suspended until further notice and his case will be referred to the Disciplinary Committee.

He was filmed sprinkling an unknown substance in goal and urinating or simulation of urinating against one of the goalposts before the start of the match.

In a letter to the club, FAZ Deputy General secretary Joseph Chimpampwe said Chileshe acted in a manner that is not consistent with the values and integrity of football as espoused by FIFA, CAF and FAZ.

Chimpampwe reiterated that FAZ will not tolerate such unsporting behaviour.
