Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League outfit FC Siyanda have confirmed the appointment of Mondli ‘Moyi’ Funani as the club’s new head coach.
Funani will be assisted by Anelele ‘Ace’ Ngculu, Ntsikelelo Dyudyu and goalkeeper coach Lwazi, who is better known as ‘Khune’.
“I’m very privileged and honoured to be here. I’ll give it my all to make the supporters proud of their club,” said the new man in charge.
“I want to improve the performance of the club so that we can move to a better position. The team is okay, we have good players it’s just a matter of combination.”
Moyi had his first stint as Siyanda’s head coach this past weekend when they played to a goalless draw with Bush Bucks at home.
The club chairman Siyanda Ntshikilana also added that: “I’m absolutely delighted to bring a coach of Moyi’s calibre to FC Siyanda and I look forward to seeing what he, our players and dedicated team staff can achieve together.”
Siyanda currently occupies fifth place in stream A of the provincial league with five points from four outings.
