Sekhukhune United head coach Johhny Ferreira says he’s not happy following their GladAfrica Championship 2-all draw encounter against Jomo Cosmos on Tuesday at Olen Park Stadium.
The 63-year-old mentor insists that his troops did not capitalise on the scoring opportunities they created.
“Mistakes happened and I am extremely disappointed because we got so many chances of scoring,” Ferreira said in a post-match interview.
Ferreira’s side took the lead twice in the match, however, Ezenkosi equalised with a penalty in the dying moments of the game.
The Limpopo-based side started the 2020/21 GladAfrica Championship campaign like a house on fire as they hammered Royal AM 4-0 in their first game this past Saturday at Makhulong Stadium.
“The players need to learn that in the GladAfrica Championship, teams don’t give up so easily until the last minutes,” Ferreira adds.
The former Uthongathi mentor says that they will be going out to ensure that they collect the maximum points in their next clash.
“We’ll need to regroup and come back with a good strategy for our next game, “ he stated.
United will lock horns with Richards Bay on Sunday, 06 December 2020 at Makhulong Stadium. Kick-off is set for 15h30 in the afternoon.
Babina NoKo currently sit on top of the GladAfrica Championship table with 4 points from two outings.
