FARPost has been reliably informed that well-travelled coach Johnny Ferreira will be the head coach at the newly purchased Limpopo GladAfrica Championship club, Venda Football Academy (VFA).
Ferreira recently parted ways with Polokwane City and is expected to assemble his own technical team.
VFA purchased the status of Cape United which will see them relocating to Louis Trichardt and play their matches at Thohoyandou Stadium.
The club will use Giyani and Old Peter Mokaba as alternative venues.
VFA, owned by America-based businessman Robinson Ramaite has been quietly assembling their new squad and are set to begin with pre-season on Monday, 12 July.
They are set to officially unveil the squad, possibly a new name and the whole structure in the coming few days.
The move brings to three Limpopo clubs in the GladAfrica Championship next season with Black Leopards and Polokwane City.
The province remains with two clubs in the DStv Premiership (Baroka and Marumo Gallants) after Sekhukhune opted to remain in Tembisa.
