Black Leopards hire new assistant coach

Rumour has it that relegation-threated side Black Leopards have bolstered their technical team with the appointment of Alan Clark as assistant coach.

Clark worked as an assistant to current Leopards coach Cavin Johnson at AmaZulu before he was dismissed earlier this season and the pair also previously worked together at SuperSport United and Platinum Stars.

“He travelled with the team for the match against Bloemfontein Celtic but will officially start this afternoon (Monday),” a source told FARPost.co.za

Clark joins a technical team that already has Morgan Shivambu (assistant) and Sam Banda (goalkeeper coach).

Meanwhile, Leopards have reportedly reconciled and have welcomed back goalkeeper King Ndlovu into the team.

Ndlovu was deemed surplus to requirements by former coach Luc Eymael but the recent performances of first choice Jonas Mendes and Rotshidzwa Muleka has forced the team to reconsider the decision.

Lidoda Duvha will host log leaders Kaizer Chiefs in what is expected to be a sold out affair at Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday at 15:30.
