Polokwane City head coach Clinton Larsen is impressed with the way midfielder Kabelo Mahlasela has been doing since he arrived at the club.
Mahlasela joined ‘Rise and Shine’ from Kaizer Chiefs on a six-month loan deal during the January transfer window.
With the player’s contract with ‘Amakhosi’ expiring at the same time with his loan deal at City, the Limpopo side is expected to try by all means to convince him to stay beyond the current season.
“No, he’s done well, he’s given us a nice dimension he’s brought us more quality into the squad, so I’m happy with him, “said Larsen.
“That is between the club’s chairman [keeping him] and Kaizer Chiefs. I’m not sure what the agreement was, how the deal was done.
“But for me as a coach I like him as a player, and if I have a chance to work with him in the future, I will like it yeah, “concluded Larsen.
