Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League side Buffalo City Municipal Stars have appointed Tshepo Motsoeneng as their new head coach.

This comes after Motsoeneng parted ways with Bizana Pondo Chiefs in a mutual agreement a fortnight ago.

He guided the ‘Hunters’ to win the 2019/2020 Provincial ABC League and also led them to the 2020 ABC Motsepe National Playoffs Championship triumph.

Motsoeneng has been known as a tactically flexible coach, who arrives at a football club and uses the culture of the team, and simply sees more value in playing to the strengths of the club.

The former Tornado FC mentor will be expected to help Buffalo City gain promotion to the GladAfrica Championship as he’s one of the finest coaches and a proven winner, having achieved a remarkable level of success in the South African football third tier.
