Limpopo ABC Motsepe League outfit Ditlou FC have roped in the services of the former Orlando Pirates forward Reason Chiloane as the club’s new head coach.

The 38-year-old mentor takes over the coaching reigns from Lucas Mautla, who has been demoted to be an assistant coach following a string of poor performances.

Chiloane represented Garankuwa United, Thanda Royal Zulu, Atlie, Warriors, Pirates just to mention a few. He also served as an assistant coach of Acornbush United.

He was recently based in Uganda where he was involved in coaching development football.

The Soweto-born mentor was in attendance watching his new side from the stands when they went head-to-head with Magesi in the Limpopo ABC League clash on Wednesday. The game ended with a 1-all draw.

“There are a lot of things to work on as much as I managed to be here to watch the game. But through everybody’s efforts, I believe we could make it,” Chiloane told FARPost.

“The only thing that I saw is the fighting spirit but lack of confidence in terms of playing is the only worrying factor.

“We just need to combine a few things and bring them back to the game.”

The Elephants of Limpopo believe the new man in charge will add value to the team and help them to gain promotion to the GladAfrica Championship.
