Ex Premier Soccer League (PSL) players resurfaced at Munaca FC during the 2020 Limpopo ABC Motsepe League Nedbank Cup Preliminary games this past weekend.
Bongani Manavhela, Khaukanani Eethe and Ernot Dzaga were all spotted at the Limpopo ABC Motsepe League side. The club also roped in the services of the former SA U20 national team coach, Solly Luvhengo.
Munaca FC were knocked-out in the Nedbank Cup Preliminary games as they suffered a 2-1 defeat in the hands of Venda Football Academy at Makhado Showground.
Manavhela is a 28-year-old goalkeeper who had stints at Polokwane City, Mbombela United, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) and JDR Stars. His experience will add value as Munaca aim to gain a promotion to the GladAfrica Championship.
Khaukanani played in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge for Orlando Pirates in 2016, but struggled to break into the first team. He was then sent out on loan to TTM in 2017 where had his fair share of play. The former Free State Stars striker will be required to become a pivotal player for his side as he boasts National First Division experience.
The former Black Leopards defender Ernot Dzaga is expected to be a rock at the heart of Munaca’s defence ahead of the 2020/21 Limpopo ABC Motsepe League season. He shoulders the responsibility, and he hardly disappoints.
