South African striker Lyle Foster has made it into the nomination list for the famous annual world football golden boy award.
Italian newspaper Tuttorsport has released the list of 100 nominees for the year 2020 and the Mzansi teenager is amongst some of the best young players in the world.
The list is comprised of U21 players from around Europe who played top flight football during the 2019/20 season. Foster is registered to French outfit AS Monaco but was on loan at Belgian top tier side Cercle Brugge for the season.
The 19-year-old is amongst 14 players belonging to French Ligue 1 clubs that are nominated for the prestigious award that was started in 2003 first won by Dutch legend Rafael Van Der Vaat, while Portuguese striker Joao Felix the current holder of the award.
