Foster set for Portugal switch

Reports from France indicate that South African striker Lyle Foster is set to make a move to Portuguese Primeira Liga side Vitoria Guimaraes.

In January 2019 Foster signed for Monaco on a five-year deal from Orlando Pirates and broke into the first team six months later making his senior debut against Olympique Lyon.

The teenager would later be sent out on loan to Belgian Pro League side Cercle Brugge where he made 21 appearances in all competitions scoring just one goal accompanied by one assist.

After returning for pre-season with Monaco it seems the striker wants to go where he will get to play regular game time as he continues with his development and Guimaraes is a club known for giving players that space.

Foster has reportedly signed a 5-year-deal with the Primeira Liga side and is set to undergo his medicals this week as the 19-year-old looks to start a new journey in his career.
